GST Period End: Running GST reports
To calculate the values for your GST return, you need to run a GST Report. You access the Reports section of the application by clicking on the "Reports" link or icon.

You will then be taken to the "Reports" page. Here you can select which type of report you would like to run. To generate a GST return, you should click on "GST Report".

You will then be taken to the GST Report page. Here you can select the cashbook you want to run the GST report on. You must have at least 1 cashbook to run a GST report. You will also select the dates that you wish to run the report for. By default, the application will select the first and last dates of the current month.

To run the report, you then click on the "Generate Report" button.
You will then be presented with a web page that contains the report.
On the report, the number on the left of the dollar values is the number of the box on the GST101 form for the IRD.

At the bottom of the report, you can see if you have a GST refund, or GST to pay. On this example report, we owe the IRD $150.84

Congratulations! You have successfully calculated your GST.
